Mon Sep 21, 2009, 10:39 AM
Flecki had a accident recently, got caught in a door.... We were at the vet's, just to be sure. Luckily nothing happend =)

Well.... Still can't escape school...... Yet, I had one of the best German lessons ever in my life. Well, we got a new teacher.... And he's GREAT! At least half of class was constantly laughing and giggling.... That's the way school should be like, amusing, not torturing =D

Hello, world!

Fri Aug 21, 2009, 10:25 AM
Alright.... I am quite lazy when it comes to updating my journal....

But I do not want to watch my club list on my main page anymore, so yeah....

Well, maybe the best thing to start my (hopefully) regulary journals with a introduction of myself and my sweethearts. (might get a bit boring, if you don't like long texts..... in this case, don't read =D)

I am an 18-year old pupil from Berlin, close to graduation.

Photography is my hobby and will surely always only be that: a hobby. But I love making photos and try to make better ones everytime I e.g. visit a zoo.

For those who want to know: I use a Sony Alpha 300 with a Sony 3.5-5.6/18-70 lens (so far the only one I own, but once I have enough money, I will get one with a higher focal lenght).

By now, I own four bunnies and two Dzhungarian dwarf hamsters.

My bunnies are seperated into wo groups, as the two males don't get along (apparently, the younger one always tickled the old one, which some day started to attack the other one).

The one group (the "big ones") lives in my room - freely. They don't have any cages, but can use the whole 9 m² of my room. However, usually they either sit in one corner of the room where they eat hay or relax under my bed. All in all, you always see them eating or lying on the floor.

One of them is Flecki, with his approx. 6 years my oldest an my first bunny. Some years ago before I got the girls, he was quite lazy and got really fat. He has lost much weight since then, but know he has around 10cm skin too much (when you grab his fur on his back, you can pull up and down from almost his neck down to his tail). He is the laziest one and loves to get washed by Lily.
Flecki is a German Dawrf Lop, weighting 2.5 kg. His name is derived from the German word for spot (Fleck) so his name means "spotty". He already had the name when I got it.
This is him in his favorite pose.

The other one living in my room is Lily. I ot her together with my other girl, Nelli. They aren't sisters, but they are almost the same age (around 4) and, when I got them, they looked alike (fur color).
She is quite shy, especially since a half year ago, when I had to give her some medication.
Despite that, it is always wonderful to watch, how lovely she cares for Flecki.
She is a lion head mix with a Japanese brindling colored fur and weights around 2.1 kg. Her name is derived from Lilinette, the name of a character from the manga Bleach.
The right one is her while washing Flecki.

The other group (the "small ones") consists of Nelli and Raffi, the newest one of the group. They have our small work room and the corridor available. Like the others, they don't get caged away, but they have a cage standing in the room, because else they wouldn't have a shelter (the others have "their" bed).
They like sitting on the cage or on the chair standing in this room, which is quite soft, so it's only understandable. It's wonderful to see how much they flourished ever since they are seperated from the other two.

Nelli is the fluffiest one of all and the one, that gets cuddled the most. Unfortunately, she won't stay still for long.
Best of all is her face. Half of it is fur. :giggle: I'll try to submit a picture of this cutey somewhen soon.
She is a lion head with Japanese brindling colored fur and currently weights 1.4 kg, as she was operated recently. Usually, it's 1.6 kg. Her name is derived from Nell/Neliel, a character from the Manga Bleach.
She is the right one. It's a shame I don't yet have submitted a proper picture of her.

The last one is Raffi. I have him since around half a year. He is quite small and fine-boned. But don't unerestimate him! When he doens't like something he doens't refrain from tweaking.
He is a cute 1.2 kg light dwarf bunny. I thought long about a fitting name and found "Raffi", influenced by Ruffy from the Manga One Piece and Raphael from the PS2 game Soul Calibur.
Raffi, when he still lived in my room with the others.

Besides my bunnies I own two hamsters. I originally only bought one, which was supposed tobe male... I quess, the rest is self explaining. I'm lucky, my Loki (named after the norse god) only got two children, of which one now belongs to my sister and is called Blümchen (which means "small flower") and the other is still mine and is called Pinselchen ("little brush", because she has such a cute, outstanding white tail :giggle:). All three are females and have their own cages.

Before them, I had another Dzhungarian dwarf hamster, called Chiisana or short Chii (japanese for "small"). This is her on one of her tripson our couch.

This is all for now =)
